Yellowgrass Sloughs and Marshland: May 4, 2019

Trip Leader Stephane Canavet

We had such success seeing so many species! The morning bird watching was made difficult by an icy, cutting wind with a temperature close to zero with the windchill! Eventually we took refuge in a great seafood restaurant in Weyburn for hot soups, tea and coffee! The afternoon became sunny and so comfortable in contrast when we continued, finding a lek of Sharp Tailed Grouse in action, and a large badger digging a den!
